Was Christ born in a manger?

Whenever you see a nativity scene, it’s usually set in what looks like a modern barn. Is this the kind of place where Christ was born? The Shepherd priests knew how to find the newborn savior because he was born where all the lambs who would be sacrificed are born, which wasn’t in a barn.

Did the Shepherds See a Star?

Though the wise men saw a star, the Shepherd priests were visited by an angel. The angel told them “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”

About US

We're a Utah family who spent many years living like the Mormon pioneers, always on the move and with very little to our name. One thing we never ran out of though was Christmas Magic. Our mother made sure Christmastime was always magical, no matter what the circumstances.
